Pie Chart labels seem incorrect
I have a pie chart with data lables added, including the category, value and
percentage. I want to format my lables so the value is displayed as a currency, and the percentage as a regular percentage. When I format the lable and set the number format to currency, Excel then displays the value as a plain value but formats the percentage to become currency. e.g. At first the segment says "alice, 1, 17%", I change the number formatting to currency and it becomes "alice, 1, £0.17". I actually wanted it to be "alice, £1.00, 0.17%". Is this the intended behaviour? |

If you format the cells in your data then this will copy to the chart. If
you try and change the format on the chart labels then I think only the last part of the label will get formatted , in your case the % will change to £ -- John MOS Master Instructor Office 2000, 2002 & 2003 Please reply & rate any replies you get Ice Hockey rules (especially the Wightlink Raiders) "Alice Graham" wrote: I have a pie chart with data lables added, including the category, value and percentage.
