Modifying charts in Excel 2003
2 questions -
1. With a chart that has already been created, in the Source Data dialog box, is there a way to select multiple series at one time to remove? I've tried the shift and control keys with no luck - just wondering if I missed anything. 2. Some of the charts have a lot of data so when a series is deleted it takes awhile for the chart to recreate without that series. Is there a way to turn off the refresh of the charts until I want it to refresh? I tried changing the Calculation to manual but that does not seem to impact charts. Thank you! -- maryj |

If I were doing it for myself, I'd write a little macro. First, the code lets you set something up to run without much of your attention, so you wouldn't care if it kept updating slowly. Second, you can suspend screen updating while the macro runs. There's no way manually to achieve this effect. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ |
