How do I make a number line in Excel?
I want to make a number line in Excel 2007 that takes a number from a
previous calculation and plots it on a one axis numbe line. For example, the number 18.6 is calculated and I want it plotted on a line with one end at 16.3 and the other at 25.5. Any ideas? |
How do I make a number line in Excel?
If I understand correctly:
In A1 enter 18.6 In A2 enter =D5 (where D5 is the place where the calculation result appears) In A2 enter 25 In B1, B2 and B3 enter 1 Make an XY chart from A1:B3 Format:set Min and Max on x-axis, remove gridlines, both axes, plot area; etc Happy to answer more questions best wishes -- Bernard V Liengme www.stfx.ca/people/bliengme remove caps from email "fairchildbrad" wrote in message ...
