custom chart - variable axis - multiple charts
I have a pivot table that has the below fields
month team and data sets for match win % game win % winnings and would like to have a separate chart created for each team on the same page without having to manually create each chart. I can create a single chart easily, with the win % items on the left axis, month on the bottom and winnings on the right axis. I have created a customer chart type for this, although I have to manually change the chart type when data is refreshed. I would like to have Excel automatically create all of the charts, and adjust the axis according to the data for that team, and also to keep the chart type when updating. So I have 3 problems. Please help! Thanks. |

Untested suggestion:
Put the team as the 'Page field' (not the 'row field'). This will let you see the results for a single team at a time. The associated PivotChart will, consequently, be only for that one team. As far as the customization of the chart goes, you have run into one of the quirks of a PC. XL insists on reseting the chart to the default values after each refresh. You can either (a) create a regular chart based on the PT data or (b) use a macro to undo the damage XL causes to your custom PC. -- Regards, Tushar Mehta http://www.tushar-mehta.com Custom business solutions leveraging a multi-disciplinary approach "PJ" wrote: I have a pivot table that has the below fields month team and data sets for match win % game win % winnings and would like to have a separate chart created for each team on the same page without having to manually create each chart.
