Lock Axis Values?
I want to show a progression of data, tracking towards reaching a
predetermined goal. Unfortunately, as I get closer to the desired goal, my Y axis values are changing every time I update the data, thereby making it look like I am not getting any closer to the desired goal. Is it possible to lock in the Axis values, so that they do no autmatically adjust to "fit" the data provided. Thx. |
Answer: Lock Axis Values?
Yes, it is possible to lock in the axis values in Microsoft Excel. Here's how you can do it:
Now, your Y-axis values will remain fixed, regardless of any changes to the data in your chart. This will allow you to track your progress towards your predetermined goal more accurately. |

Isn't that life? The harder you work the farther you get from your goal.
