in EXCEL, can't change data
working on a spreadsheet in Excel, I saw a typo and went back to change it,
but the original entry remains. I have tried just typing the correct data over what is there, I have tried using both backspace and delete to delete original entry and then entering correct data,AND closing and opening up again. This entry will not go away and keep the correction. Help! |

Hi,
1. Closing and Opening? How about Saving? 2. Are you sure you are opening the same copy that you saved, if you saved it? Open it from the Recently Used Filelist rather than the Open dialog box. -- Cheerss, Shane Devenshire "accountspayable" wrote: working on a spreadsheet in Excel, I saw a typo and went back to change it, but the original entry remains.
