actual and projected sales on a line graph
I would like to show actual and projected sales on one line on a line graph.
Solid line for actual sales and a dotted line for projected sales based on the same time line. This must be really simple, but I just don't get it. |

says... I would like to show actual and projected sales on one line on a line graph. Solid line for actual sales and a dotted line for projected sales based on the same time line. This must be really simple, but I just don't get it. The easiest way to do this is to create two series and format the projected series as desired. Suppose you have the following: 2005 10 2006 12 2007 15 2008 16 Reorganize the data: 2005 10 2006 12 12 2007 15 2008 16 Now, plot the 2 columns as 2 series and format the 2nd with dotted lines. -- Regards, Tushar Mehta www.tushar-mehta.com Excel, PowerPoint, and VBA add-ins, tutorials Custom MS Office productivity solutions |
