Y-Axis Problem With Area Chart

I created a Line chart that has data from 3 Series in my worksheet. The
Y-Axis was automatically sized appropriately from 0 to 8000, which fits the
data range. But when I change the Chart type to Area, Excel seems to
automatically double size of everything including the Y-Axis values and the
plotted data. i have tried to change the Y-Axis settings to what they should
be but the the plot doesn't fit. Has anyone seen this problem before?

Y-Axis Problem With Area Chart

Hi,

Is it possible the area chart is a stacked sub type?

Cheers
