Arranging information so a chart makes sense
I have entered the information in what seems to be a logical way to me. But
I'm not able to get a chart that makes much sense, or that relays the information in a useful way. Maybe I need to sort it out differently. I have it entered: quarterly dates (descending order) down the 1st column, and my 1st row title/headers a Risk Rating #1, Risk Rating #2 Risk Rating #3 Risk Rating #4, Risk Rating #5, Risk rating #6, Risk Rating #7, Total number of loans, total original balance, total query balance. Then under each row header, lined up horizontally with the quarterly dates, I have 3 sub columns as follows: number of loans, $ original loan balance, $ current loan balance All I am trying to do is chart this information so I can see what's happening with the loan portfolio. I think the line graph should show the following: Volatility, and growth of the ORIGINAL loan balance on a quarterly basis. Volatility, and growth of the CURRENT loan balance on a quarterly basis. Migration of portfolio risk rating. Is the loan portfolio growing or shrinking? Thanks for any help. -- Scott S. |
