How do I draw a residual plot on excel?

residual plot
A residual is the difference between measured Y and predicted Y. Presumably
you have X and Y in two columns of your worksheet. In the next column, put calculated values for Y based on the fitting parameters determined from the XY data, and in the column after that subtract the predicted from the measured to get residuals. Now plot X and residuals in an XY chart. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "erin" wrote in message ...
