How to graph from an imported data set?
I exported results from GAMS to Excel; when I want to graph the results i get
wrong results. But if I put columns in a different order then I get the right graph. What can the problem be? |
How to graph from an imported data set?
If the data is okay (i.e., numerical, not imported as text), then you can
create your chart, but in step 2 of the chart wizard click on the series tab, and adjust the data ranges for each series. It takes a little longer, but it does work. Or you can swap columns, since you've indicated that that works. If you are making XY charts, and the data is arranged in a regular pattern, you could try the Quick XY Charts utility, which I have just released for public beta testing. It's an Excel add-in, which interfaces directly with Excel. You can download it from http://peltiertech.com/Excel/ChartsH...rtUtility.html This page also has instructions on installation and use of the utility. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "DaniKab" wrote in message ...
