Excel for Timelines
I am using excel to derive a simple timeline / gantt chart - by subtracting a stat date from a finish date to get a task duration and then letting the chart wizard work its magic. Unfortunately, if the start and finish dates are the same, there is no duration. Overtyping "1" in the duration box doesn't seem to work either. Does anyone have any ideas? Excel for Timelines
According to the rules of subtraction, X - X = 0. What duration do you want
to get when start date and end date coincide? Here are some Gantt chart examples and links: http://pubs.logicalexpressions.com/P...cle.asp?ID=343 http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/GanttLinks.html - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "pwrigh1" wrote in message ...
