Printing causing a scale change
Hi again I've got all my graphs looking beautiful - on screen. But when I print or preview, the axis labels are reformatted for some reason. Because I need all my graphs to maintain their axis positions when printed, this is a problem. For example, I have a variable that varies between 12 and 18. The scale in Excel works well: 10 to 20. Ideal, really. But printouts, without any obvious provocation, change this scale to perhaps 9.5 to 19.5 - very annoying. Any ideas why it does this and more importantly how to stop it? Printing causing a scale change
Hmm, further experimentation suggests this problem is being caused by the scaling done by the print pre-processor. It seems that, in an effort to squeeze the chart so the sheet will fit onto a printout 1 page wide, the charts' texts is being reformatted. Is there a way to overrule this reformatting while scaling? -- F*SH ------------------------------------------------------------------------ F*SH's Profile: http://www.excelforum.com/member.php...o&userid=36355 View this thread: http://www.excelforum.com/showthread...hreadid=562888 |
