No you can't do it within a PT. That is why Debra suggests that
workaround taking the data out of a PT.
The only other "cheat" that I can think of would be to insert a new
column A in front of the PT.
Then in column A on row 4 or wherever the first part# appears, enter the
Part#
in A5 enter
=IF(B5="",A4,B5)
and copy down.
Then hide column B
