I know you can fake it, but that would make things even more
complicated if I need to move things around!

What I'm after is something that will automatically crossconnect, so
that if I move one of the lines, the crossconnect goes with it.

I'm guessing this is simply not possible in Excel; that's what real
drawing programs like Visio are for. It would just be nice to have
some of that functionality in Excel too.
