Thumbs up Answer: adjust line spacing of text in a cell

To adjust the line spacing of text in a cell in Excel 2003, you can follow these steps:
  1. Select the cell or cells that you want to adjust the line spacing for.
  2. Right-click on the selected cell(s) and choose "Format Cells" from the context menu.
  3. In the "Format Cells" dialog box, click on the "Alignment" tab.
  4. Under the "Text control" section, you will see a "Vertical" drop-down menu. Click on it and select "Justify" or "Distributed" to adjust the line spacing.
  5. Click "OK" to apply the changes.

If you want to adjust the line spacing even further, you can also use the "Wrap Text" feature. This will allow you to wrap the text within a cell and adjust the line spacing accordingly. To use this feature, simply select the cell(s) you want to adjust, right-click and choose "Format Cells", then click on the "Alignment" tab and check the "Wrap text" box. You can then adjust the row height to increase or decrease the line spacing as needed.
