Thumbs up Answer: how to make break the y axis for the in the line chart

Hi Rupali,

To break the y-axis in a line chart, you can follow these steps:
  1. Select the data range including all the columns and rows.
  2. Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
  3. Click on the "Line" chart type and select the first option under the 2-D Line chart.
  4. A chart will be created with all the data points.
  5. Right-click on the y-axis and select "Format Axis".
  6. In the "Format Axis" pane, under the "Axis Options" tab, scroll down to find the "Breaks" section.
  7. Check the "Enable" box and select the type of break you want to apply (e.g. "Wavy Line").
  8. Set the "Minimum" and "Maximum" values for the first section of the y-axis (e.g. for H-8).
  9. Click on "Add Break" to add a break to the y-axis.
  10. Set the "Minimum" and "Maximum" values for the second section of the y-axis (e.g. for H-7 and H-3).
  11. Click on "Close" to apply the changes.

Now you should have a line chart with a broken y-axis that shows all the data points for all three atoms. You can customize the chart further by adding titles, labels, and legends as needed.
