Hi Rupali,
To break the y-axis in a line chart, you can follow these steps:
- Select the data range including all the columns and rows.
- Click on the "Insert" tab in the ribbon.
- Click on the "Line" chart type and select the first option under the 2-D Line chart.
- A chart will be created with all the data points.
- Right-click on the y-axis and select "Format Axis".
- In the "Format Axis" pane, under the "Axis Options" tab, scroll down to find the "Breaks" section.
- Check the "Enable" box and select the type of break you want to apply (e.g. "Wavy Line").
- Set the "Minimum" and "Maximum" values for the first section of the y-axis (e.g. for H-8).
- Click on "Add Break" to add a break to the y-axis.
- Set the "Minimum" and "Maximum" values for the second section of the y-axis (e.g. for H-7 and H-3).
- Click on "Close" to apply the changes.
Now you should have a line chart with a broken y-axis that shows all the data points for all three atoms. You can customize the chart further by adding titles, labels, and legends as needed.
