Default GUI Expert: Excel-based User Interface or OO User Interface?

Hi everyone,

What are the pluses & minuses with going either of two ways:

Excel-based User Interface, or
Object-oriented User Interface?

An expert reply would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Mike
