how do i find unsaved work that i accidently deleted

i accidently shut down work in excel that i had been working on all morning,
i had minimized it while i looked for another document but when i came back
to continue it wasnt there and i had not saved the work, is there any way
that i can retrieve this work

Vonnie,

There are undelete utilities that can sometimes recover a deleted file. I
haven't heard how well they work with XP. Don't use your system in the
meantime, as the more stuff you do, the more likely the file will not be
recoverable.

There are undelete programs tho' I have not used them with
Windows. If you think something like this might happen again you
might want to set up Autosave; see Help.
