Default Combining data from multiple worksheets and separate spreadsheets

How do I take data from one worksheet and perform formulas with data on
another worksheet? How do I do this with separate spreadsheets? Mahalo.

Default Combining data from multiple worksheets and separate spreadsheets


In the resulting worksheet insert an equal sign and select another
worksheet, it will provide a formula similar to:
=Sheet2!D4
