Default Paste Link

When i paste link i get zeros in all empty cells. Can i prevent this?
Anybody?

I have tried using the skip blanks option but this then disables the paste
link option. Confused!

You can go to ToolsOptionsView and uncheck "zero values"

Or write a formula rather than use the "paste link"

=IF(Sheet1!A1="","",Sheet1!A1)
