Default The dissapearing Data (on refresh) mystery

I build large financial models working with collegues in India. We have hit a
problem with Pivit charts that refer to data on the financial models that we
send to each other. They work perfectly well when we view them on the
computer on which the Pivot was created but mysteriously lose the data on
refresh when we send it to each other and open the file on a different
computer. Interestingly the pivot fuctions perfectly providing you do not
refresh the data. We have even created the same pivot table twice on the same
worksheet, once on my PC and once on my collegues machine - when I recieved
it back my pivot chart still worked but my collegues pivot lost the data on
refresh. My collegue had the same problem only the other way round.

We have run out of ideas - so any help would be gratefully recieved.
