How can i set up a validation list to be able to accept more than ont entry
in a cell?

In short you can't do that. Validation lists do not support multiselect.

ok Jim,
how do i redirect a user selection from a drop down list to populate in
another cell? Would the offest function be able to do this or is there an
easier way?
