Default excel check boxes moving when excel selected cells pasted in word

Hi,

I have a price list with non-vba check boxes. The users check the boxes for
services and then based on true/false the prices fill in.

The concept was to be able to copy the contents of the excel page directly
into word as we have done before. The problem in that when the selection is
pasted into word the first box in each non-concecutive row moves up one space
so they no longer match up.

Any suggestion on what's happening or how to fix it?
