Error message: "cannot shift object off sheet"
Peter
You have 'data' to the right or below where you think Select A1 and press Ctrl+Right Arrow or Arrow down for rows. This is where Excel thinks your data goes to. To correct this, select the whole of the last row/column that Excel 'thinks' it has and then, holding the shift key down, select the last entire row/column that you 'know' you have. Now select EditDelete and save the workbook. That should fix it -- HTH Nick Hodge Microsoft MVP - Excel Southampton, England DTHIS www.nickhodge.co.uk "Peter Vickers" <Peter wrote in message ... another option is that he has comments somewhere on the worksheet,
removing comments usually solves that error (and is the first source to look for when you get it) On Dec 8, 6:56 am, "Nick Hodge" wrote: Peter You have 'data' to the right or below where you think Select A1 and press Ctrl+Right Arrow or Arrow down for rows.
