Default copied formula has correct cell reference, but result of original

I copied a sum formula from cell a to cell b.
The result in cell b is the sum formula with correct cell references, but it
displays the sum result from cell a.
e.g. the sum in cell a is 6, the sum in cell b is 4, but 6 is displayed.
