Default nested ifs

since excel has a limit of 7 nested ifs and someone i know needs to do 12
nested ifs is there a way to do this

Depends upon what the data looks like, but you should be able to use LOOKUP
or VLOOKUP where the test values and lookup values are defined in a table.
