Default Is the IRR calculation based on cash flows at beginning of year?

I am trying to find out if the IRR calculation is based on cash flows at the
beginning of the year or the end of the year. This could affect the IRR
because the term has a significant impact on the calculation.

End of the period.

For more info, see Help for the NPV function, specifically the Remarks
section..
