Default Disappearing Excel document

I created quotations using an Excel template - no problem. However, some my
saved quotations have now 'disappeared'off screen! All I can get is the grey
Excel blank background. There are no scroll bars available so I cannot scroll
to find it. The document is still 'there' because if I click 'Print Preview'
it appears and I can also print it - but I cannot find it in normal view to
edit it! If I choose 'Full Screen' on the View menu, the document reappears
in the top corner at a fraction of normal size, but reverting to 'Normal
View' just gives a blank screen again.

What have I done wrong ?

I need to email it to a client but I am not sure whether he will be able to
see it or not! Certainly, if I open the attachment after emailing it is blank.
