I would like to know how to compute percentages on a spreadsheet.

Dear speed. A percentage is one number divided by another and multiplied by
100. There is a % symbol that you can use on the standard tool bar. You
didn't happen to go to public school in California did you?

First, we need to know if you know how to compute percentages on paper, or
with a calculator. Do you?

Speed,
You would type in a formula which starts with = and follow that by the
operators you want to use. Like, for 20 is 20% of 100, you would type =20/100
and then format the cell as a percent. OK?
