Thumbs up Answer: how to calculate e^2 in excel

  1. In an empty cell, type "=
    Formula:
    EXP(2
    " (without the quotes).
  2. Press Enter on your keyboard.
  3. The result should be approximately 7.389056.

Alternatively, you can use the caret (^) operator to raise e to the power of 2. Here are the steps:
  1. In an empty cell, type "=
    Formula:
    E2^
    " (without the quotes).
  2. Press Enter on your keyboard.
  3. The result should be approximately 7.389056.

Note that the letter "e" in Excel is reserved for scientific notation, so you cannot use it as a variable name or in a formula without causing an error.
