how to add a linear trendline to a semi log scale?
If you want a fitted line to be straight on a semilog plot, you need to fit
the data to an exponential trendline. A linear fit curves downward due to the shrinking of the scale at the top of the log scale. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Microsoft Excel MVP Tutorials and Custom Solutions http://PeltierTech.com _______ "jtlurk" wrote in message ... |

how to add a linear trendline to a semi log scale?
Hi Jt,
If by semi log you mean log scale on the x axis and natural scale on the y axis or vice-versa, then right click on one of your data points click add trendline and select logarithmic. This should give you a line of best fit through your data points. HTH Martin |
