Default can i colour a cell on basis of results of a formula e.g clour bl.

can i colour a cell on basis of results of a formula e.g clour blue a cell if
resulting value from a formula is a specific value

fo exapmle if a formula returns a value 50 then automatically this cell is
colored blue but if this value is <50then this cell color is red

Yes. Use Format, Conditonal Formatting

in your example:
Format, conditional formatting
set condition 1 "to Cell value is" "greater than or equal to" "50"
then set the format required.
