Default #Ref error when using vlookup formula

I am getting a a #Ref error with the following formula. The lookup value is
within a pivot table and the lookup range is not.

=VLOOKUP(A954,Sheet1!$D$5:$D$846,2)

Can someone please help me. Thanks

Default #Ref error when using vlookup formula

the last number should be 1 not 2 or should your range be d5:e846?
