Personal.xls Does not open automatically
I have had a macro to run automatically through my Personal.xls file for over
6 months. I am not sure why, but it stopped working. I have reviewed several papers prepared available on the internet, but can not seem to get this file to open when I open Excel. Accordingly I can not gain access to the macros within it. Any advice will be very much appreciated. |

Personal.xls Does not open automatically
Saved from a previous post:
If you created a personal.xls workbook and it's not opening, maybe... xl2002+ has the abililty to quarantine what it thinks are bad workbooks. They can keep track of them so that it doesn't even try to open them. If you look under Help|About MS Excel, you'll see a button called: "Disabled Items...". Check under there to see if it's marked not to open. You can enable it there, too. If the workbook is really bad, you may want to delete that copy and put a copy of your backup version into your XLStart folder. (If you don't have a backup, take the time now and create one.) Dave, as you have done in the past this little way of fixing makes me wonder
why 2 people here spent three or four days trying to resolve what you resolved in a few minutes with instructions that were simple and very very effective. Thank you. Ron. Personal.xls Does not open automatically
Glad you got it working.
You may want to take the time to backup that personal.xls workbook.
