Default find item in drop down cell by typing the first few characters

How can I set up drop-down list in Excel so that I can search for the item in
the list by typing the first few characters?

Try Debra's page at:
http://www.contextures.com/xlDataVal11.html

She has instructions there to simulate "Auto-complete"
in data validation lists.

There's a sample file for download near the bottom of the page.
