AverageIF
I would like to calculate the average of a range but want to ignore any cells
equal to zero. I tried the following formula but it returns an error messsage (#NAME?) =AVERAGEIF(O2:O1092,"0") Does anyone have another formula? I am using Excel 2003 -- --coastal |

Try this array formula**:
=AVERAGE(IF(O2:O10920,O2:O1092)) ** array formulas need to be entered using the key combination of CTRL,SHIFT,ENTER (not just ENTER) -- Biff Microsoft Excel MVP "coastal" wrote in message ...
