convert military time to regular hours
I would like to covert military time to regular hours - (i.e 1.50 hrs to 1
hour 30 minutes) and also keep track of the average time it takes to finish a task - (i.e. 1 task could take 1.25 or 1 task could take 2.50 hours I would like to be able to show "on average" how long it takes a task to be completed. Thanks, Kathy |

convert military time to regular hours
Hi Kathy
Excel stores times as fractions of a day (24 hours). So to convert your 1.5 hours to 1:30, divide by 24 and FormatCellsCustom hh:mm:ss To get the average with 1:15 in B1 and 2:30 in B2 simply enter =AVERAGE(B1:B2) to return 1:52:30 -- Regards Roger Govier "Kathy" <Kathy @discussions.microsoft.com wrote in message ...
