Thumbs up Answer: how do I reset VBA's setting to the default settings?

To reset VBA's settings to the default settings:
  1. Open the Visual Basic Editor by pressing Alt + F11.
  2. Click on the "Tools" menu and select "Options".
  3. In the "Options" dialog box, click on the "General" tab.
  4. Click on the "Reset" button in the "General" tab.
  5. Click "OK" to confirm the reset.

To reset the windows in the VBA Editor to their default positions and sizes:
  1. Click on the "View" menu in the VBA Editor.
  2. Select "Reset Window Position" from the menu.
  3. This should reset all of the windows in the VBA Editor to their default positions and sizes.

Default how do I reset VBA's setting to the default settings?

When I screw up the layout (including the tiling), I'll just follow these
instructions from Tom Ogilvy:

What version of excel? If Version 2002 or 2003 look for

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\VBA\6.0\Commo n\Dock

you aren't deleting a file. You are deleting a value in the registry.
Windows/Excel will recreate it with default values which should restore the
original layout of the VBE.

Right-click on whatever window you docked, and uncheck "Dockable"
