Default Social Security Number

How do you convert a social security number from text to a number? Is
there a way to convert an entire column?

Assuming your SS numbers are in the format of 123-45-6789,
Try doing a Find/Replace

Find "-" (don't enter the " marks)
Replace with (leave this blank)

Does this work for you?

Hmmm, worked for me. What happened when you tried it?

Your Find/Replace should look like the attached .jpg....
