Need step by step for entering data into combobox
Where do you get the data to put into the combobox?
If it's from a worksheet, you can show that control toolbox toolbar and click on the design mode icon. Then rightclick on the combobox and choose Properties. Then look for: Listfillrange Type in your range to use: 'sheet 2'!a1:a99 You may want to use a linked cell, too. Type that address into the LinkedCell property. And scroll down to Style. If you want to stop the user from typing a different value into that combobox, choose 2-fmstyeldropdownlist And you may want to look at matchrequired, too. It might make data|entry a bit easier. After you've changed all these things, click on that design mode icon to get back to "normal". mandy wrote: Put in combo box from the control tool tool bar so that I could format the combobox to move with the cell but now I dont know how to put the data back into the drop down do I need to implement a macro for this? or is there another way?
