Default Restrict showing full range of Y axis

I have a graph which has the scale -100 to 50,000 with 10,000 for the scale
markers on the y axis. I wish to hide or "cut out" of the graph the space
between the 10,000 and 40,000 marker points. I've seen this before where a
gap in the scale like this has been represented by a squiggly line along the
axis. Is this possible to do in Excel?
Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Hi,

Breaking the axis is not a built-in feature but can be created.
