Default i lost my worksheet in excel

i pushed some button as i was entering data and the entire worksheet is gone.
when i tried to reopen, it said it was already open, so i closed excel and
it asked me if i would like to save my changes. i said yes and then tried to
reopen the file, and it is still a blank screen. where did my worksheet go?

If the data was gone and you saved the changes, the data is gone forever.
You should have replied 'No' when asked to save the changes.
