Default Excel Crashes

I have a file that is linked to other files, which became a corrupt file.
Restored from back up and worked fine, ran the macro and then the file was
password protected and it crashed, has anyone had this before?

There are 21 sheets in the file linked to other files

Cheers Shona

Shona -
More than likely you have exceeded the maximum number of characters allowed
for the file.
