Default Tracking Changes in Excel 2007

Hi,

I have a large excel document that is on a shared drive. People have been
going into my document and making changes without my permission. I would
password protect, but other people need access to the document.

If I choose track changes, will it show me the ID of who made the changes?
Do I need to click "track changes" every time I resave the document?

thanks so much!
