why does this formula yield the #value error ?
=SUM(A1;adress(1;C1)) and how can i solve it ? |

You probably need the INDIRECT() function

Keeping with your syntax, you could use:
=sum(a1;indirect(address(1;c1))) or a formula that will only recalculate when it needs to. =sum(a1;index(1:1;c1)) === Formulas with =indirect() in them will recalc whenever excel recalcs. denbee wrote: why does this formula yield the #value error ? =SUM(A1;adress(1;C1)) and how can i solve it ? -- Dave Peterson |
