Default Setting a reminder up

Hi All,
I am setting up a spreadsheet in which I enter dates. I would like to know
if there is a formula that I can enter which will make the cell change color
or notify me once this date has expired?
Kind Regards,

Check out conditional formatting. You will find it in Format.

Look up 'Highlight cells that meet specific conditions' in the Answer
wizard in help
