Default Opening and saving Excel 2003 file from Excel 97.

Hi,
When opening a excel 2003 file (even saving it as 97 2000, 2003 compatible),
in excel 97 , and later saving it to 97 format, a message box appears saying
that if i click yes some info will be lost.
I would like to know if that info that will be lost, could be critical (like
macros, formulas, etc). If it is so, is there any way to avoid it?

There's a good Help Topic named Using Excel 2003 with earlier versions of
Excel. I bet that will answer most of your questions.
