When you select a number of cells in Excel 2003, the cells are highlighted in
a nice dark blue colour - easily identified even when selecting random cells
using the ctrl key.

However in Excel 2007, this shading is a very pale blue colour and hard to
distinguish - can it be changed?

This is a common question/complaint. However, short of experimenting with
your Windows Appearance, there is nothing you can do in Excel to change it.
It does seem to be related to the user's monitor
