I seemed to have touched something here. My first row lists my descriptions and now when I sort, it also sorts. Can anyone please tell me what the key is to keep this row on top. Many thanks ......Dave

In the Sort Options place a checkmark in "my data range has" header
row. If you make the text in the Title row bold or different font than the others, Excel will most times see that as a header row automatically.
